Great location, comfortable other than the lingering smell of cigarette smoke
Very close to the City, The Strand and the Supercar track
When I walked into the unit, it smelt of cigarette smoke. The bathroom mirror also was old and needs replacing. Otherwise it was a very comfortable room

Nice place to see Townsville from
The room had everything we wanted, it was comfortable, nice bed and hot shower. The location of the property suited us well for travelling around the Townsville area using it as a base. We went to magnetic island one day and the ferry car park was only 10 mins drive away which was convenient for us.

Wonderful
Great location. Parking in front of your door. Our room was fully renovated. Outstanding value for money. First impressions of the motel don't match the room quality. Recommended. Very comfy. Great bathroom etc.

What was the highlight of Townsville City Motel
Great place to stay, clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent staff.
I like the simple check in, the wifi is fantastic, the beds and rooms are clean and the bathrooms have always been up to standard. Nice central location to get in and out with ease.
The motel can't be blamed for the current issues in Townsville. It seems to be in an area where crime could happen easily and other illegal issues like drugs could be happening around the area. I have not had an issue but that is the only problem I can see.
